The first three have a Phd and the other one "just" a Master in engineer. They meet Penny, a waitress in the cheescake factory, who doesn't care about science but soon hangs out with the geek group.

He talks with a scientific language that just his fellows can understand and makes the rest of the people say What? Also, he is kind of neurotic, obsessed with finishing any task he begins but unable to drive since he's too advanced for that.

Lost is an American adventure television series that originally aired on the American Broadcasting
Company (ABC) from September 22, 2004 to May 23, 2010, over six seasons which contained a total of 121 episodes. Lost is a primarily character development based drama series containing elements of science fiction and the supernatural that follows the survivors of the crash of a commercial passenger jet flying between Sydney and Los Angeles, on a mysterious tropical island somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean. The story is told in a heavily serialized manner. Episodes typically feature a primary storyline on the island, as well as a secondary storyline from another point in a character's life.
Lost was created by Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof who share story-writing credits for the pilot episode, which Abrams directed. Throughout the show's run, Lindelof and Carlton Cuse served as showrunners and head writers, working together with a large number of other executive producers and writers. Due to its large ensemble cast and the cost of filming primarily on location in Oahu, Hawaii, the series was one of the most expensive on television. The fictional universe and mythology of Lost is expanded upon by a number of related media, most importantly a series of short mini-episodes called Missing Pieces, and a 12-minute epilogue titled "The New Man in Charge".

In 2030, Ted Mosby, Josh Radnor, decides to tell his kids the story of how he met his mother, even when
its seems more like what was my life before I met your mother. That's How I meet your mother, a CBS tv show aired in 2005 which had his final episode on March 31, 2014.
Ted is the conexion for the New York gang, he meets his roomate Marshall who falls in love with Lily Aldrin. After college, he meets Barney who introduces him to Robin Scherbatsky with the worldwide known phrase "have you met Ted?".
The story actually starts in 2005, although moves back and forward through time, when Ted tries to hit on Robin in his search for the woman of his life. Meanwhile, his college sweathearts, Lily and Marshall plan to get married after many years of dating. Barney is Ted's wing man and helps him to get ladies, even when he uses odds methods.
The sitcom is hillarious and had many great episodes during 9 seasons, even when some fans think that the show deteriorated after season 5, more or less. In spite of Ted being the main character, the best one is Barney Stinson and his legen-wait for it-dary Playbook.
The series follows the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), a teenage girl who falls deeply in love with
a 163-year-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated as Stefan's vicious and malevolent older brother Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) returns with a plan to wreak havoc on the town, seeking revenge against his younger brother for turning him into a vampire against his will. Both brothers begin to show affection towards Elena, mainly because of her resemblance to their past love Katherine Pierce. It is revealed that Elena is a descendant of Katherine, who eventually returns with plans against the trio. Elena undergoes many hardships and deaths of close family members and loved ones through her high school experience.
The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged with supernatural history since its settlement of migrants from New England in the late 19th century. Additional story lines revolve around the other inhabitants of the town, most notably Elena's younger brother Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen), her best friends Bonnie Bennett (Katerina Graham) and Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola), and their mutual friends Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) and Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig). The town's politics are orchestrated by descendants of the original founding families, all comprising a "Founders' Council". Some of the founding families of Mystic Falls include the Salvatores, the Gilberts, the Fells, the Forbes, and the Lockwoods. They guard the town mainly from vampires, although there are many more supernatural threats such as werewolves, witches, ghosts, Originals and hybrids.

the Halliwell Manor to live with her sisters. When Phoebe comes across the family's Book of Shadows (a family heirloom book containing centuries of knowledge, spells, and magic learned or created by the Halliwell matriarchs), Phoebe learns that she and her sisters are the most powerful witches ever known in the history of Witchcraft and the world, destined to protect both innocents and the world at large from demons, warlocks, and other evil creatures. The series takes place in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, in which the residents are
actually characters from various fairy tales and other stories that were transported to the "real world" town and robbed of their original memories by the Evil Queen Regina (Lana Parrilla), using a powerful curse obtained from Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). The residents of Storybrooke, where Regina is mayor, have lived an unchanging existence for 28 years, unaware of their own lack of aging. The town's only hope lies with a bail bonds-woman and bounty hunter named Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), the daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), who was transported from the Enchanted Forest to our world as an infant before she could be cursed. As such, she is the only person who can break the curse and restore the characters' lost memories. She is aided by her son, Henry (Jared S. Gilmore), with whom she has recently reunited after giving him up for adoption upon his birth, and his book of fairy tales that holds the key to ending the curse. Henry is also the adopted son of Regina, providing a source of both conflict and common interest between the two women.
Episodes usually have one segment that details the characters' past lives, which when serialized, adds a piece to the puzzle about the characters and their connection to the events that preceded the curse and its consequences. The other, set in the present day, follows a similar pattern with a different outcome but also offers similar insights.
