What do I have to do to vote?
Paso 1
Voting is as easy as going to any ranking and clicking on the button labeled ‘Vote’next to each candidate. From the moment you start using TheRanking, you are already actively influencing rankings, making candidates rise and fall according to your personal preferences. You vote on each ranking, you decide who deserves to be #1 and who doesn't deserve to be included in the ranking.
Paso 2
You can vote in the same ranking for ten different candidates and you can change your vote as often as you wish as long as the ranking remains active.
Paso 3
You can add and remove candidates, but in the final ranking, your votes will be competing against other users'.
What's the value of each vote?
Paso 1
We like Formula 1… because it's agile and fast. And we're going to use their points system for all TheRanking votes.
Each vote has a different points value.The number one in your rankings will obtain 25 points, the second rank, 18; the third, 15, etc.

- Fifth place 10 pts
- Sixth place 8 pts
- Seventh place 6 pts

You can only vote for ten candidates per ranking, but each and every candidate in the relevant category may be subject to your vote.
In any case, you can freely change your vote whenever you want.
How can I create a card to incorporate it into a ranking?
Paso 1
if you're unable to find the candidate you're looking for, you can create a card. We recommend you first read our New Content Insertion Policy. Click on “create your own card”, and once there fill in the relevant fields so that your card is as complete as possible. It's important you fill in each field correctly. Make sure first that the card you're about to create doesn't exist yet, and in case it doesn't, go ahead and create your card!
Paso 2
If you're attempting to create a card that already exists, the system will warn you. Once you've checked to make sure, it's important to identify the name(of the person or product) with the category it belongs to. You may upload a picture to the card you're creating. Any uploaded content will be verified by TheRanking.
Paso 3
Once the card is created you can add it to a ranking and rank it according to your opinion.
What's the Boogie?
Paso 1
The Boogie is TheRanking.com's game which allows us to award points to all your activities on this platform. Every action at TheRanking.com receives some kind of prize. Any time you participate somehow, be it voting, creating rankings, befriending other users, becoming fan of someone or something, sharing your rankings on social networks... you will accumulate points and earn more and more badges.
Paso 2
The more you participate, the more badges you'll get, and every point counts towards upgrading your level.
Aim: to get more points than any of your friends.
Points are measured in time; that is, all-time rankers are shown (they're the most active users), but also the top rankers in each week.
You may find out your friends' points and set new challenges among yourselves.

What do I do with these achievements? Can they be exchanged for real prizes?
Yes. At specific times and with some badges, we will inform you about the possibility of swapping them. Would you like a free ticket to the movies? Or maybe you're looking for a T-shirt. The more you participate, the bigger your chances for earning great prizes are.
And if I get all the badges?
We sure hope you do! We encourage you - nay, challenge you - to do it.

How do I know when I've earned a badge?
A pop-up will show whenever this is the case. And you can always consult your badges on your profile.
I don't get the names of the badges
;-). They all have some sort of secret identity. We hope you enjoy them.
Who can view my achievements?
Everybody by default, unless you change your settings so that only your friends may view them. You can decide this on your profile.
